From the heart of Hamilton, Aotearoa, we are Te Maurea Whiritoi – a vibrant kapa haka group nurtured by Puaingo to elevate the next generation of Māori cultural leaders. For over a decade, rangatahi (young people) of Hamilton Boys’ and Girls’ High Schools have been supported to embrace their heritage, and build strong foundations in traditional Māori arts and values.
