The explination of this picture, the Tūī is the outlined bird, the bush in the right is Harakeke (flax) and those are one of the favourite trees of the Tūī. I used the colours of night because, these are the colours of the feather’s of the Tūī. There’s only one person watching two Tūī flying and there’s a cloud a the throat of the Tūī to represent its white tuffs. If you also look at the sky, there’s Matariki.
